    Ray excellent fish report keep up the good work…save us some big ones…Big Rock is definitely the best place to stay on Leech Lake.. yourself marty and Mary are the best. you couldn’t ask for a better resort to stay at. can’t wait to return next year take care and keep in touch thanks for making our vacation a very enjoyable time

    Nice report! Great weekend of fishing at Big Rock. Ray, that was the most impressive fish cleaning clinic you put on. The standard knife cleaned up on the electric. We’ll be back up on June 7th. we will stop over to see you.

    Marty..Mary…and of course you RAY…it has been a outstanding year at Big Rock…whether the fish are biting or not its always a pleasure to stay with you guys you always go out of your way for everyone to have enjoyable time…but you also make it so hard to leave at the end of the week. I will come back as long as you guys are running the show. You do so much and its very appreciated.     I would stick to the reefs and pull crankbaits, the last few days has shown quite a bit of promise. look for areas in the 8-14 foot range in the main lake basin.

    Now that’s a fishing report. There’s a lot of mumbled gibberish on the net who call themselves a fishing report but, none can hold a candle to this honest assessment of what anglers can honestly expect. I can’t wait to get up there! Thanks Big Rock.

    Approx when is the jumbo perch bite (usually) and is Sheep Pastures a good place to search them out? Also, what’s ethical to keep- do we send over 12 inchers back?

      we will have pots, pans and dishes in the cabins, we’re just going to have less than the normal amount to make things easier for us, we can provide you with any extra items you need.

    Hey, Ray – your fishing report is spot on. We stayed with friends on Agency Bay and had a hard time finding walleye. We nailed the perch though. We swing by Big Rock but missed seeing you. We’ll stay again sometime in the future. Have a great summer.
